Success Is Just A Bit Beyond

Success Is Just A Bit Beyond

Once Desmond Tutu was talking about very big tasks, and said: “There is only one way to eat an elephant: one bite at a time.” That is a good image to bring to mind when we are facing overwhelming projects that may seem daunting, and even impossible. The lesson from the saying is that any task, no matter the size, can be accomplished gradually by doing just a little at a time.

A similar image is created by the concept: Baby Steps, that  are tentative actions which are the first stage in a long or challenging process. You can also refer to concepts like bit by bit, brick by brick, inch by inch. The key concept here is action, that refers to something done so as to accomplish an aim or a purpose. While inaction, is lack of action where some is expected or appropriate.

Most successes are due to action and most failures are due to inaction. You may have the Goal, the Strategy and the Plan, but without action you have nothing. Whether making a phone call, sending an email or physically maneuvering to achieve the next steps, take action. Execution will bring you one step closer to your desired outcome.

Whatever you do, just go forward.

  1. My best comment is to be big successful is you have to act like a goat or turtle like climbing a mountain Alp.Slowing step by step until you reach the top Alp.Becauce if you rush.Your going to fall like failing.Just like if you going run and rush on a latter fast your success going to collapse.
